Petrolatum Anti-Corrosive Tape (PACTape)
PACTape is made from a non-woven synthetic fibre fabric. The fabric is impregnated and coated with a neutral compound based on petroleum hydocarbons (petrolatum) and inert siliceous fillers. It is formulated for use in tropical temperatures and:
- is a cold applied tape that remains malleable over a wide temperature range;
- is non-hardening and non-cracking;
- is highly resistant to mineral acids, alkalis, salts and micro-organism;
- is highly impermeable to water, water vapour and gases;
- protects buried or exposed pipes, rods, cables, valves and metal fittings from corrosion;
- waterproofs cables and thermal insulation.

PVC non-adhesive Outerwrap
This is a 175 micron PVC material used to wrap over PACTaped protected products ideally used when additional mechanical protection is required or where physical contact is likely.
